Catherine Gonz叩lez is the coordinator for the Upward Bound Classic Program at the 91心頭利. Catherine is an alumna of the institution, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish language and literature in the fall of 2019. Her role in the Upward Bound Program consists of preparing high school students (grades 9-12) for college and providing them with skills needed to succeed in high school and higher education. Upward Bound serves low-income and/or first-generation students, which Catherine is no stranger to as she comes from a similar background. She was a first-generation student while completing her undergraduate and is a continuing first-gen student in her graduate program at Colorado State University.
