Course Drop & Withdrawal
Sometimes life takes a turn; plans change, opportunities pop up, or challenges get in the way. If you decide not to attend 91¿´Æ¬Íø, you must officially drop or withdraw from your courses. Doing so:
- Confirms your decision not to attend
- Frees up seats for other students, especially in classes with wait lists
- Helps you avoid paying for courses you won’t take
- Protects your financial aid and your academic record
Don't wait until the last minute. Dropping or withdrawing early helps you and your fellow Lions.
Financial and Academic Responsibility
Enrolling in courses means you are responsible for tuition and fees unless you officially drop or withdraw.
- Not attending class or not paying tuition is not the same thing as withdrawing.
- Failure to act can result in full charges and loss of financial aid eligibility.
Dropping a Course (Before Semester Starts)
If you decide not to take a course before the semester starts or during the official adjustment and refund period, you can drop it in Workday.
Dropping a course during this time:
- Removes it from your schedule
- Does NOT appear on your transcript
- May qualify you for a tuition and fee refund (if within the refund period)
