Day of Giving 2026 on the Horizon
Written By: Rachel Putman
Twenty-six projects will spend 1,928 minutes fundraising for their causes during the 91¿´Æ¬Íø’s annual Day of Giving.
This year’s Day of Giving invites donors to support projects ranging from scholarships and emergency aid to academic enrichment opportunities and student organizations, to community summer camps, and study abroad programs.
Several projects this year center on direct student support, including the Alumni Legacy Scholarship, the First-Generation Student Success project, and both student and employee emergency assistance programs. Others focus on academic endeavors, supporting undergraduate research, the psychology symposium, study abroad scholarships, and Applause literary magazine’s return to print.
Projects hope to raise a total of $62,000 from 8 a.m. on April 28 through 4:08 p.m. on April 29.
Though the event primarily takes place online at: , members of the campus and community will have a chance to learn more during Numa’s Birthday Party. The annual event will run from 2 to 4 p.m. on April 29 on the Campus Green, with food, games, prizes, and, of course, representatives from each Day of Giving project.
Beyond donating, organizers say sharing the projects and signing up as advocates is just as important, because crowdfunding depends so deeply on personal connections.
